Dr. Hussain, Medical Director

A dedicated and compassionate physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, practicing in the Las Vegas Valley since 2004. Offering comprehensive care to adults of all ages he specializes in acute, preventative care, as well as diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, cardiac disease, lung disease, stroke, arthritis, depression, anxiety, obesity, kidney disease, and more.

After graduating from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan in 1991, Dr. Hussain relocated to the United States to further his medical training. Completing both his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College in Westchester, New York, and his Fellowship in Geriatrics at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Hussain then relocated to Las Vegas with his family to serve our community with integrity and a commitment to excellence.

Feeling it is essential to treat each patient individually, Dr. Hussain efficiently diagnoses each patient's specific health issues, and thoroughly explains all treatment options, while respecting his patients' wishes. He feels quality of care for his patients is critical given the complexity of healthcare in the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding areas. Dr. Hussain has patients who travel from neighboring states such as Utah and Arizona for care. Offering each patient the care he would expect for his own family. 

Dr. Hussain is highly respected by his peers, not only for his expertise and desire to serve the community but also for his genuine and caring nature in every aspect of his practice and personal life. Dr. Hussain puts a huge focus on family and community as he feels it is the foundation of everything he does, keeping him grounded and humble. Dr. Hussain and his staff are committed to giving back to the community in any way they can, by way of toy drives, food drives, and contributions to various youth sports organizations. Dr. Hussain has a passion for precepting new and upcoming Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians Assistants during their clinical rotations. Instilling in them the values that he holds himself to as a physician. 

As a Board-Certified Internist subspecializing in Geriatrics, Dr. Hussain is on staff at both Desert Springs and Henderson Hospitals and serves as Chief of Staff at SANA Behavioral Health Hospital. He prides himself on providing continuity of care for his patients in both the hospital and office settings.
